Café Gráborg
Since moving to our farm in 2021, it has long been my dream to open a little countryside café and gallery in the old haybarn. Finally, in May 2026, my dream became a reality, and I opened SveitaCafé & Gallerí Gráborg. My friend and neighbour, Guðný Jakobsdóttir, joined with me in the project, and she runs her little artisan bakery from the kitchen, Björtubrauð, (specialising in sourdough bread and bakes).

We often have freshly baked sourdough bread for sale, as well as bread available in the freezer.
The café has a comfy sofa area with a spectacular view of Snæfellsjökull glacier from the big window (when it isn't shrouded in low clouds!), together with a seated table area, and gallery offering a range of local handmade goods, including my own range of hand-painted crafts and artwork (under my ArtisAnn Design logo), together with my novels (which, of course, I'm happy to sign a copy for you).
Did you know...Snæfellsjökull is the volcano featured in Jules Verne´s A Journey to the Centre of the Earth
We are currently showing part of a photographic display by Birgit Guðjónsdóttir from her recent exhibition, Preserved Moments.
We look forward to seeing you, and offering you a warm welcome!
