The Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights, never fail to make you feel like you're witnessing something special - which, of course, you are! They dance across the sky in ribbons of green, often tinged with shades of pink/purple. Without doubt, it is every visitor's dream to see the Northern Lights if they visit Iceland in winter-time. Lucky me - I only need to look out of my window, or stand on the doorstep and watch them! Naturally, I set myself the challenge of being able to paint them - here is an example of the aurora dancing over Snæfellsjökull.
