She's Everyone's Mother

She's Everyone's Mother

She’s Everyone’s Mother.

Her life is your life; our life.
Let her tears wash away yours,
Let her breath dance through your hair,
Let her warmth caress your heart; lift your soul.

But she’s old and frail.
She’s lived through it all;
her good times and bad,
our good times and bad.
Her well-being is our well-being.

And like any mother, she knows when enough’s enough;
when her kids need to stop.
Stop fighting.
Stop taking.
Stop hating.
Just stop!

Touch the ground.
Dance in the rain.
Face the sun.
Feel the wind.
Give thanks to this incredible old lady.
Our Mother.
Earth.
