Iceland has a rich heritage connected to the fishing industry. This pair of paintings are of a retired (now demolished) fishing boat - Tindur SH179 - which was once located in Ólafsvík as a monument. Sadly, the wood degraded, making the old boat unsafe, so it had to be removed. This pair of watercolour paintings are my acknowledgement to this great industry of ours.
